Bubble Wrap Prints

This was a fun one. I picked up some bubble wrap at the dollar store and let the kids color the bubbles with markers (in our case it was dried up markers dipped in water again). Then place the bubble wrap face down on paper (we used card stock) or put a piece of paper on top of the bubble wrap and push down or step on top. The bubble wrap leaves a pretty print and you can hear it pop too. I wonder how it would work with really thick quality bubble wrap? Probably even more impressive!
note: you could use paint instead of markers, I wasn't in a messy paint mood though...

Marker water colors

It has been a while since we have had full functioning markers around. One day of leaving the markers in reach has pretty much destroyed them, until this idea was discovered. Simply dip your old dried up markers in water and you have instant water color paints and paint brushes all in one. We decided to do it on paper towels and it was a pretty cool effect but it would work on regular paper too.
Note: When the tips turn white you can save them to dip in paint and use as paint brushes
